I look into your eyes and smile softly,

I try so hard to keep breathing,

The gun in my hand looks so good.

It's as though life lost its meaning,

But in my mind I keep seeing you.

I fall on my knees and I keep begging please,

Why won't life just go away?

Still I lay down each evening and shake off the feeling,

Without you there is no light.
